Dolly Wink no.8, Candy Doll Lip gloss and DUP 910 Review

Going to take a break from blogging about my holiday and do a proper gyaru make up and eyelash review!

The items I'm reviewing today are...

I absolutely LOVE Dolly Wink eyelashes! They are my favourite eyelashes so far and I'm proud to say I have all 8 styles now! The last style that I added to my collection is no. 8 Pure Little.

I was never really interested in Dolly Wink no. 8 until I saw a review on it by another blogger. I held back from buying Pure Little because I thought that it wouldn't make too much of a difference on my eyes and it's too similar to Dolly Wink no. 5 Real Nude so there was no point buying it.

Boy.. was I wrong!

Ok look closely in this photo and you shall see the difference between no. 8 and no. 5. 

Pure Little comes in individual strands! I thought it was all in one band like no. 5 but it's not! The top pair comes in 6 sets of 2 strand lashes and the bottom pair comes in 5 sets of 4 strand lashes! And that is what convinced me to buy this!

I moved one strand to the side in the photo so you can see what I mean.

The individual strands allows you to play around and create a very customised look so you can put as many strands as you want to give your lower lashes a lot of volume or just put a few strands to create a very natural look. 

Please note it's much easier to apply these lashes with tweezers because it's so small! And if you drop it.. good luck finding it.. esp if you drop it on grey carpet.. (That happened to me and I spent 10 minutes panicking and looking for it -.-)

What I like:

It looks really natural and very easy to apply! I love how it comes in individual strands!

What I didn't like:

Because each section is so small especially the ones that comes in two strands it's very easy to lose it! I guess that goes for all the other bottom eyelashes in the Dolly Wink series except for no. 5 real nude. So you must be very careful with these lashes when you put them on and take them off!

The price for a set of Dollywink range from 15aud-20aud+ and this is quite pricey for these lashes.. But since I love Dolly Wink I don't care because it's really good quality lashes and in my opinion it's definitely worth the money!

In conclusion..

I will give it 4 out of 5 hearts. If you love the natural look then this is a MUST buy! I wouldn't recommend these lashes for heavy make up because it wouldn't make much difference on your eyes. I will definitely re-buy this but then again I will re-buy all my dollywink eyelashes because I love them so much! Already re bought no. 1 and no. 2 on my Hong Kong trip!

Next up is DUP's 910 eyelashes. I keep seeing Kumicky wear this in recent Popteen issues and I have to try it for myself. I cant find the exact model of the one she is wearing which is 803 but the 910 is quite similar.

This is from the March 2011 Popteen Issue where the Models show the lashes that they use. 

The lashes Kumicky uses is longer than the 910 but I can't find it.. so this one will do for now!

What I like:

It looks really natural and it's quite easy to apply. The band is really dark so it lines your top eyelids really well and looks like you have really dark and precise eyeliner!

What I didn't like:

Because the band is so dark you will have to draw your eyeliner really well especially the part from the iris to where the eyelashes start. If you don't draw it properly it will look like your eyeliner only lined 4/5 of your eyes. (I hope that made sense) 

In conclusion..

I will give it 4 out of 5 hearts. If you are going for a natural everyday look then I will definitely recommend these eyelashes. 

Last item to review is Candy Doll's lip gloss in Peach Orange! 

It's kind of a pinkish peach colour with hints of orange so I guess that's why it's called peach orange?

What I like:

I love the colour, it looks even better when you wear it with Candy Doll Lip Concealer! 

The lip gloss is quite pigmented so the colour show up well if you apply a thick coat

It doesn't dry out your lips, very moisturising ^__^

What I didn't like:

It's really sticky so my hair always get stuck to my lips!

In conclusion..

I will give it 4 out of 5 hearts. It's different to the other lip glosses I have because this lipgloss is very pigmented so you don't really need to wear lip stick with it. I hate wearing lip stick so I really love this gloss because it's like a 2 in 1! I worn it recently with Candy Doll's lip concealer and the colour looks even more pretty! I will post up photos later =)

Final Look...

Didn't draw my eyebrows because got them tattooed in Penang

Really love the combination of Dolly Wink no. 8 and DUP's 910! Creates a very natural gyaru look! Also look at the lip gloss colour! So pretty right? But it's not very orangey.. more pinky..
