So sorry for the lack of updates! I've been quite busy with my personal life since I started full time work. I probably won't be able to update so frequently in the future but really hope my readers can understand! Sometimes I just want to unwind and relax after a long day at work and it's getting harder and harder to find the time to blog. Especially when you sit in front of a computer all day, you want to get away from the computer when you go home.
I think one of the best things about being back home in Perth is that I can get my hair done by my bestie again ^__^
I was so bored of my brown hair I wanted a change! I roughly told my friend what I had in mind and the rest was up to her! I was super excited to see how my hair would turn out.
At HairHouse Warehouse in Innaloo!
Half head of foils + bleach~
Then add colour...
Anticipating and waiting~~
Felt like such a super star =P
Ta-dah~ End result!!
Photo taken that day~ The colour turned out super red! I loved it so much!!
But red doesn't last long and washes out easily. This was what my hair looked like after a week.
It's more of a orange/brown colour now, but I'm still quite happy with it ^__^
And here are some camwhore photos!
What do you guys think of my new hair colour?
Go find my friend if you live in Perth!!

The red is lovely~! In my experience with maintaining red hair, it's best to get a vegetable based dye like Manic Panic and add some to your conditioner to keep the color going. Red does indeed fade fast, but if you do that then it'll stay red far longer.
ReplyDeletewahhh you are such a cutie!!! and your hair turned out really nice! i think it really suits you!

Red hair is so pretty, and so is your hair style! I wish red didn't fade so fast though OTL
ReplyDeleteHi! Love the color! Yeah, red is the hardest color to keep. Have you tried out Revlons Nutri color creams? You can use them everyday after schampoo but before condition without making a slitage on your hair- actully it works the opposite way and protect your hair AND tones it. They have a lot of nice red colors :) Have a wonderful day! / Jennie
ReplyDeletei bought a red colour shampoo already but thanks for the recommendation! It's so sad that red washes out so easily =(
DeleteOh that color really suits your face + skin, it looks so nice! (: How often do you wash your hair? I had red for a long time and every once in a while but it never faded *that* easily! :/ You can try some of these "color refreshment" products with red pigments in it to revive your color since you still have a red undertone in it :)
ReplyDeletethanks dear ^__^ i wash my hair every 2nd day bcos it gets oily so fast! And that's why I put in foils + bleach hoping to dry out the roots a bit but it still doesnt work =(
DeleteI use colour refreshment shampoo + oily scalp shampoo.. but nothing works :'( boooo
