Expectations

1. I believe everyone's expectations of the trip would have at least one in common; which is to have fun! It may be a study trip, but nevertheless, it's an overseas trip during the holidays with our friends. Therefore, it would be natural to want to enjoy the trip and bring back many wonderful memories.
   
2. Even though having fun is important, more importantly, I want to learn more. If I just wanted to have fun, I would rather just have an overseas trip with my friends. Since it's a study trip, I hope to learn as much as I can so that I would be a more knowledgeable person which would make my learning journey slightly easier for the coming semester. Furthermore, with the increased pool of knowledge, I would be able to better decide for myself whether I am prepared to work in the finance industry.
   
3. Lastly, since it would be in a foreign country, away from home and from our comfort zone, I want to grow up. Not in terms of age, but in terms of my thinking and actions. I want to be more mature in my thoughts and be more independent and responsible for my own actions so that I would not be a burden for the people around me.
