After lunch, we headed off for the second company visit in Beijing, Mengniu Dairy Co Ltd. It was one of the more well-known dairy brands in China. The tour guide brought us through the manufacturing process. In a way, it was similar to the Yakult Factory--there was only a small amount of manpower in the required in the manufacturing line.

Was it just the Yakult Factory and the Mengniu Dairy Co Ltd that required low manpower, or was it all dairy industry that relied heavily on machines? That I do not know, but I assume that most F&B products would require low manpower to reduce the contact between the people and the products. In a sense, it was more hygienic since there would be lesser chances of bacterial introduction.
After the tour, there was a Q&A session and we were all given an ice cream.
